Burak Unal is the founder and Sales Director of Turkey Boats, his yacht brokerage in Istanbul. A finance and investment professional with more than ten years of experience, he brings institutional-grade diligence and negotiation to buying, building, selling and managing yachts in Turkey.
Burak advises Turkish and international clients - including high-net-worth individuals (HNWI) - across yacht brokerage, real estate investment and investment advisory. His approach combines deep local access in Turkey with the discipline of a finance background, so every transaction is handled transparently and in the client's best interest.
He holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), where he studied as a Chevening Scholar, and a BSc in Management from Bogazici University. He is a licensed real estate advisor in Turkey (License No. 3408704) and previously worked in financial management at Oliver Wyman. Over more than a decade he has advised thousands of investment and residency clients, and now leads yacht brokerage, construction, refit, management and berthing at Turkey Boats.
Burak is an active voice in the investment community - a speaker and moderator at InvestPro Turkey Istanbul 2026 (Bosco Conference) - and a congress member of Galatasaray Sports Club. Turkey Boats is backed by his parent company, Gordion Partners Investment.
